We are an all volunteer run, non-profit organization that offers Howell school children from 1st through 8th grade, the tackle football and cheerleading experience. Our season starts early August and runs through the end of October. Our football and cheerleading teams practice at Three Fires Elementary School. Home and away games are always on Saturdays; home games are played at Parker Middle School or Three Fires Elementary, and away games are played at various locations around Livingston County.
Dear Howell Junior Football and Cheerleading Parents:
I hope everyone is having a terrific 2017. It’s hard to believe, but in a few months, another HAJFL season will be underway. Planning has been ongoing for the 2017 season and we look forward to another great year.
Registration this year will close on May 30th at Noon. I encourage everyone to do their best to register your athlete (s) as soon as you can. After the 30th and depending on if we have any open teams, we may (or may not) open registration back up but there will be a $25 premium added for late registration as well as additional conditions highlighted on the registration page.
This year we were able to keep the registration costs the same as they were last year! However, the required deposit has increased. The increase was due to two factors. One, the cost to replace equipment is much higher today than when the original deposit amount was set. Two, the absence of volunteers has resulted in having to seek alternative means (i.e. pay services or labor) to backfill positions that were typically filled by volunteers. If you fill the required dibs (volunteer time) and return your equipment in working order, then this deposit amount is refunded to you at the end of the year. If you do not fill the required dibs and/or return equipment, then the deposit amount is not refunded to you and this money is used to pay for labor/services to fill the dibs spots that were unfilled or replace equipment.

Registration after 5/31/17 does not guarantee a roster spot for 2017!
We love animals too but please do not bring them during HAJFL events including practices and games.
Drugs, alcohol, and tobacco is prohibited on school property at all times.
Please be respectful of our players with severe allergies and do not bring any tree nuts to the fields.
